A superb Victorian silver plated oval biscuit or trinket box with a hinged lid and a Roman helmet finial. The body has cast bull head and loop handles with an engraved frieze of Roman warriors and a circular wreath cartouche. Standing on four cast mask feet.
A beautiful Victorian engraved glass silver plated claret jug. The mount has floral engraving a hinged lid and cast grape and vine handle. The clear glass body has been hand engraved with a floral scene and star cutting standing on a splayed circular base. In very good re-plated condition. (Circa 1880).
