A beautiful Victorian silver plated Claret jug with an unusual mechanical scroll lever handle when squeezed springs the hinged lid open. The mount has been engraved with grape and vine decoration. The cut glass body has exceptional grape and vine engraving with alternate star cut panels. In very good silver plated condition. (Circa 1880).
